St Gervais – Megève is one of our most popular school ski resorts, being truly one of the last remaining large French resort which remains largely untouched by British school groups.  This means less crowded slopes and lifts, yet beautiful scenery and extensive skiing overlooked by the towering Mont Blanc.

The skiing…

Your group will be located in the beautiful spa village of St Gervais which is almost at the foot of Mont Blanc.  As you would expect, the skiing is impressive and extensive, boasting over 300km of pistes over 150 slopes.

On your doorstep you will find over 300km of linked pistes which cater to all abilities.  On your Evasion Mont Blanc lift pass, from St Gervais it is possible to ski to the resorts of St Gervais, St. Nicolas de Veroce, Megève, Le Giettez and Combloux – all linked by lifts and pistes.  Each area has its own distinct character, but you will find from complete beginner to the very best in your group are more than catered for.  In fact our local guides often say they prefer this ski area to the more famed Chamonix.  Complete beginners in your group will love runs such as never-ending green run Chateluy, and the better skiers in your group will love the challenging areas at Cote 200 on the Megève side.  Some great runs of all colours to Le Bettex (the easily accessible mid-station) means your students can all start and end the day together, finished off with a hot chocolate, drinking in the magnificent views of Mont Blanc.  An upgraded lift system, some world-class skiing which will more than satisfy all levels of skiers for a long time and un-crowded slopes will make this an excellent choice for your school ski group.

The snowfall…

St Gervais – Megève has pistes upto 2525m, and with such an extensive network of lifts means this is an excellent resort to ensure snow-sure conditions during the season, from December through to Easter.   This is boosted with a further 650 snow makers covering the slopes.

Off-the slopes…

St Gervais is a beautiful 19th-century spa town which remains beautifully old-French quanit.  The centre has developed into a compact but beautiful and safe town, excellent for school groups.  Add to this some excellent après ski activities in the area including night skiing, Olympic ice rink, bowling and swimming and your group will be kept busy on their school ski trip with Ski Adaptable.
