Take a look at our most popular resorts and find out why our groups flock back year on year.

Vallnord (Andorra)

Perfect for beginner and intermediate groups, Vallnord has quickly established itself as one of our most popular ski resorts namely due to its award-winning ski school, ski to door accommodation and cost effective prices that make it tailor-made for a school ski trip.

Consisting of three main ski areas (Pal, Arcalis and Arinsal) which are all interlinked by a modern ski lift network, Vallnord is a great option for beginner school groups looking to progress to the next level. Compact and convenient, Arinsal is the perfect base for our school groups as beginner students can learn the basics on the nursery slopes and intermediate skiers can do a few warm-up runs before heading deeper into Arinsal. Beginners can then progress from Arinsal into neighbouring areas, Pal and La Massana, to try out some easy blues and moderate reds offering the perfect progression over a five or six day school ski trip.

Located in the heat of the Pyrenees Mountains, the majority of slopes in Vallnord sit above 1900m and stretch up to 2625m. The high altitudes mean the seasons here are long and annual snow records certainly support this fact. The season opens in December and slopes usually stay open until the end of April giving flexibility as to when you can travel.

Many of the hotels in the Vallnord area offer excellent onsite facilities such as games rooms and discos to keep students entertained in the evenings allowing teachers to sit back and relax after a busy day on the slopes. Furthermore the majority of hotels are located close to the ski lifts.

Vallnord is easily accessible, compact and convenient making for a stress free school ski trip.  Our school ski trips to Vallnord start from an incredible £499 per student for an all-inclusive package.  Take a look now...

Passo Tonale (Italy)

Lying between 1,884 and 3,100 metres above sea level, Passo Tonale is a snow sure paradise and one of Italy’s highest resorts. Boasting panoramic scenery and long sunny slopes, Passo Tonale has an impressive snow record and was awarded the highest snowfall in Europe during the 2013/2014 ski season. With an efficient and modern network of ski lifts which serve the colossal, Presena Glacier, the ski season here is long and the queues are short making it an ideal choice for a school ski trip.  A new lift system for the 2015/16 season means skiing the Presena Glacier is now a realistic possibility for even beginners.

Possessing a charming local village and excellent après ski facilities, Passo Tonale has quickly established itself as one of our most popular resorts and is perfect for not only December and February trips but is also especially good for an Easter Ski Trip. The resort enjoys excellent links to the surrounding areas of Ponte di Legno and Temu and an extensive ski network of 30 lifts serve 100km of piste.

Passo Tonale offers superb progression and students can advance from the one of the best nursery areas in Italy to some of the most exhilarating black runs in the region.  Ski Adaptable have carefully selected some excellent hotels in Tonale and nearby villages, giving easy access to slopes and offering a great base for your school ski trip.

We offer all-inclusive trips to Passo Tonale from just £679.  Take a look now...

Sugarloaf (USA)

Sugarloaf is one of the largest ski resorts on the East Coast of USA, set amongst some of the most pristine, wild landscapes in Maine, just 35 miles from Quebec.  Why do our groups love it?  Well the slopes are awesome, the ski school is super friendly, English speaking and well-versed in looking after UK school groups.  Add to that some incredible accommodation options, including the luxurious Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel (located piste side) and the Sugarloaf Inn and you have the perfect base for your group, piste side with easy access to all the resort facilities.

The snow is often much softer, and ultimately more powdery than European snow making for plenty of perfect powder days and there is an excellent beginner area with some confidence boosting top-to-bottom slopes for beginners, with wonderful views to boot!  The fact the US is English speaking surely helps students feel more at ease, along with some great off-the-slope activities to experience, from snowshoe trekking to the ‘anti-gravity center’ (AGC) – huge trampolines to do tricks on to you and me.  Then to finish off your school ski trip, the chance to visit the beautiful city of Boston, a fantastic memory your students will take with them forever.

What’s more amazing is that with new government APD Tax rules coming into force from March 2016, students aged 15 or less save a whopping £73 off their package price, 100% saving of which Ski Adaptable will pass onto your students.

This means all-inclusive school ski trips to Sugarloaf, including a night in Boston to explore the city now start from just £975 from Ski Adaptable!  Take a look now...

Folgaria (Italy)

Folgaria is a gem of a resort consisting of an extensive, modern ski network hosted in a friendly, safe village.  Our groups consistently comment on three factors as to why they like Folgaria – the warm welcome they receive, our friendly Ski Adaptable rep's and the village as a whole.  Secondly, the skiing is superb made even more enjoyable by the highly accommodating ski school.  Thirdly, the village itself is fantastic for school groups; it is safe, small enough to explore on foot but enough going on to keep students busy and entertained.  Activities on offer in the village include the Olympic size ice skating rink and swimming pool, cinema (English films on request), disco (exclusively for school groups), bum boarding, 3 toboggan slopes with ice rings and sledges and snow shoeing treks.

All-in-all, Folgaria has it all!  Excellent snow record, extensive, modern ski lifts, a friendly and welcoming village and a great choice of hotel options available, carefully selected by Ski Adaptable.

One final factor that helps is our prices, with fully-inclusive packages available from just £569!  Take a look now...

Leysin (Switzerland)

Think Swiss, chocolate box and mountains and Leysin is not far off the images this may conjure up.  This small village sprawls up the side of the mountain, the epicenter of which is the Berneuse Gondola, whisking you and your students to the main base station for the Leysin-Col des Mosses ski network.  With an impressive 108km of slopes on offer, with the top lift over 2200m, Leysin is a favourite amongst many of our groups.  Many of our groups ski year after year in different resorts each year, then once they try Leysin they do not look at any other resorts.  The ski infrastructure is modern yet not overwhelming.  The village itself offers a Swiss charm and safe location for your students to explore, with the quaint mountain cog railway, chocolate shops, patisseries galore and a genuine charm.  Add to this some excellent off-the-slope activities, including a unique toboggan run, swimming, bowling, ciniema, sports hall and more and your students are well and truyly set for an incredible week in Switzerland.

Ski Adaptable also have three amazing accommodation options, all of which are well-versed and experienced in hosting school groups, in fact this is what they do best!  From the cost-effective Village Camps to the four star luxurious Central Residence (complete with swimming pool, its own cinema, games room and more).  Let’s not forget those 306 degree views atop the Berneuse Gondola…those views are incredible…just take a look below!
