Chateau d'Oex is a typical Swiss village in the Gstaad region in French speaking Switzerland. The skiing is truly world class, with over 220km of pistes, upto 3000m, served by 57 lifts. Skiing includes a glacier and some of the longest ski runs in the whole of europe, great for beginners to advanced skiers.
Other great features of a school ski trip to Chateau d'Oex is the accommodation which is at the La Vieux Chalet, which includes a full in-house apres ski program including a games room with pool and table football, quiz nights, fondue evening - all for no extra charge. It also offers sole occupancy, and is just a short walk to the main ski lifts.
Also included in your price is 5 hours of ski instruction per day, and free entrance to the SportZentrum in Gstaad, which includes free swimming!
